Mungindi Preschool

Mungindi Central School is a P-12 school located in an isolated town in the north west of New South Wales. The Preschool was set up in 1993 as a pre-school for children of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent. This influences our programming as we need to blend the EYLF Program and the NSW Aboriginal Education and Training Policy so as to ensure that all the children in our Preschool can relate to curriculum skills and concepts. The EYLF program is a play based hands-on program which will work to help our children settle into learning and routine.

We have the skills of an experienced Aboriginal Education Officer, who will guide Aboriginal Perspectives and assist with links to the local community. We do accept all children in the community however priority is given to Indigenous and special needs children and children with siblings in the Central School.
